Radiologic/CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic/CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray and computed tomography equipment. The technologist will produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray and CT examinations according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and adjust radiologic and CT equipment to obtain quality images.
- Administer contrast media as authorized and monitor patients for reactions.
- Review images for quality and ensure appropriate positioning and coverage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation safety and dose-reduction practices.
- Maintain equipment and report technical issues as needed.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and/or CT, as applicable.
- State license or registration as required.
- Previous radiology and CT experience preferred.
- Knowledge of X-ray, CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient care.
- Strong technical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
