Radiologic Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations and produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and follow established imaging and radiation safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
- Operate and adjust radiographic equipment to obtain quality images.
- Review images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
- Apply appropriate radiation safety and dose-reduction practices.
- Provide patient care, comfort, and clear instructions throughout procedures.
- Assist with contrast administration as authorized and monitor for reactions.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Perform basic equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification or equivalent as applicable.
- State licensure or registration as required.
- Previous radiology or clinical imaging experience preferred.
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
