Radiologic Technologist
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations to help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients. The Radiologic Technologist will operate imaging equipment, position patients safely, obtain high-quality images, and provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations according to physician orders.
- Position patients accurately and ensure proper imaging techniques.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and effectively.
- Review images for quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate support and comfort.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
- Assist with contrast administration and other procedures as required.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification or eligibility as required.
- State licensure as required for the position.
- Previous radiology experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
