Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with X-Ray and CT experience to perform diagnostic imaging examinations and produce high-quality images for interpretation. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure accurate positioning and imaging protocols, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
- Operate X-ray and CT equipment safely and effectively.
- Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.
- Administer contrast media as permitted by scope of practice and established protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and examination information.
- Upload and manage images through PACS and applicable imaging systems.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
- Assist with emergency and portable imaging procedures as required.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- CT certification/registration preferred or required based on assignment requirements.
- Active state license or registration where required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray/CT experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic and CT procedures, anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety.
- Excellent technical, communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Experience with PACS and EMR systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) certification with CT experience.
- ARRT CT certification preferred.
- Experience with emergency, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
- Experience with contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and imaging quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.

Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
