Radiologic Technologist – Outpatient Medical Imaging (FMI)
Position Summary
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in an outpatient medical imaging setting. Operate imaging equipment safely, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and provide compassionate patient care throughout examinations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
- Obtain high-quality images with proper positioning and technique.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Maintain accurate and timely imaging documentation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Follow infection-control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography preferred or required as applicable.
- Current state radiologic technologist license, if required.
- Previous outpatient medical imaging experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, patient-care, and attention-to-detail skills.
Pay Rate
$71.90 - $76.78/hour
