Radiation Therapist – Oncology
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to deliver radiation treatments to oncology patients under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist will ensure accurate treatment delivery, patient safety, and high-quality care throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using specialized equipment.
- Position patients accurately and verify treatment setup before each session.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment following safety protocols.
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any changes or concerns.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and the oncology care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Active Radiation Therapist license/certification as required by state regulations.
- ARRT (T) certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, oncology procedures, and patient care.
- Previous radiation oncology experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
