Radiation Oncology Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Technologist to deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate treatment delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Verify treatment plans and ensure accurate treatment delivery.
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Active state license/certification as required by state regulations.
- Current ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques, oncology care, anatomy, and radiation safety.
- Previous radiation oncology or radiation therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$90.96 - $95.83/hour
