Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology RN to provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy and cancer treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after radiation treatments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and supportive therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage treatment-related side effects and symptoms.
- Educate patients and families on radiation therapy, medications, and self-care.
- Coordinate care with radiation oncologists and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Provide emotional support and assist with symptom and pain management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and oncology care protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of oncology nursing, radiation therapy, and symptom management.
- Previous oncology/radiation oncology nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$66.57 - $71.44/hour
