Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (CT/X-Ray Tech) to perform both Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
  • Operate and maintain CT and digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently
  • Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Follow radiation safety practices and maintain ALARA principles
  • Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and departmental policies
  • Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required or obtained within the timeframe specified by the facility
  • Active state radiologic technologist license, if required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT and diagnostic X-ray experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging, radiographic procedures, anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast administration
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
