Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The technologist will safely operate imaging equipment, position patients appropriately, and follow radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Verify patient identity, clinical history, and examination requirements.
  • Explain procedures and position patients accurately for imaging.
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate images for proper positioning, exposure, and diagnostic quality.
  • Perform portable and emergency X-ray examinations as required.
  • Assist with fluoroscopic, surgical, and other specialized imaging procedures when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.
  • Follow radiation safety, ALARA, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout examinations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • Active state Radiologic Technologist license where applicable.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent radiologic technology experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, technical, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
  • Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital, emergency, outpatient, or surgical imaging.
  • Experience with portable X-ray and C-arm imaging.
  • Knowledge of fluoroscopy procedures preferred.
  • Experience with trauma and critical-care patients.
  • Strong knowledge of image quality and radiation protection.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay Rate
$66.57 - $71.44/hour
