Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging results. The Radiologic Technologist will operate radiographic equipment, prepare patients for examinations, obtain diagnostic-quality images, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining exams, verifying patient information, and ensuring patient comfort
• Operate X-ray equipment and imaging systems to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Position patients accurately and select appropriate imaging techniques based on examination requirements
• Apply radiation safety principles and follow ALARA guidelines to minimize patient exposure
• Review images for technical quality, positioning, and completeness before submission for interpretation
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and safety needs during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging records
• Utilize PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for image management and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report technical issues or malfunctions appropriately
• Follow infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the imaging process


Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist preferred/required based on facility requirements
• Current state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, positioning techniques, and radiation safety
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Experience with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems preferred

Pay Rate
$70.59 - $75.46/hour
