Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The Rad Tech will operate radiographic equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality images while maintaining professionalism and compassion in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging to ensure accurate and high-quality results.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure by following safety guidelines.
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of performed procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Active state licensure, if applicable.
- Minimum of one year of radiology or imaging experience preferred.
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation safety.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and patient care skills.
Pay Rate
$70.59 - $75.46/hour
