Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The Radiologic Technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for radiographic procedures
  • Operate fixed and portable X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation
  • Apply radiation safety practices and maintain compliance with ALARA principles
  • Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and other imaging procedures as needed
  • Perform routine quality control and report equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), RIS, and PACS
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice, where required
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent radiologic technology experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy, patient positioning, imaging techniques, and radiation safety
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acute care hospitals, emergency departments, trauma centers, outpatient imaging centers, or urgent care settings
  • Experience performing portable radiography, trauma imaging, and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Previous travel or contract imaging experience preferred
  • Cross-training or certification in CT, MRI, Mammography, or Bone Density preferred
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as required

Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
