Radiologic Technologist – Outpatient Surgery Center
Position Summary
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures to support outpatient surgical and clinical care. Operate imaging equipment safely, obtain high-quality images, and provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and intraoperative imaging procedures as required.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate image quality and proper positioning.
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Assist surgical teams with imaging during procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely imaging documentation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Follow infection-control and patient safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography preferred or required as applicable.
- Current state radiologic technologist license, if required.
- Previous outpatient, surgical, or radiology experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, patient-care, and attention-to-detail skills.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
