Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitative care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist with treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and gait training.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care.
  • Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
