Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Puyallup
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and functional activities.
- Provide gait, balance, transfer, and mobility training.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
- Assist with positioning and safe patient mobility.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Follow patient safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Active Washington State PTA license required.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required based on role.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care.
- Previous inpatient, outpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$37.60 - $42.48/hour
