Progressive Care Registered Nurse (PCU RN)
We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Registered Nurse (PCU RN) to provide specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care between medical-surgical and intensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and continuously monitor patients with complex medical conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active RN license as required by the state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous PCU, telemetry, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
