Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care RN to provide specialized nursing care to patients who require closer monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with complex medical conditions.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide appropriate interventions for changes in patient status.
- Manage telemetry and other monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and acute care nursing.
- Previous PCU, Step-Down, Telemetry, or ICU experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
