Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide psychiatric care for young adults in a structured residential environment. The clinician will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitor therapeutic progress, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary wellness team to support patient stability and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations for young adult patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychotropic medication regimens.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient adherence.
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive psychotherapy as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and medication review meetings.
• Collaborate with care team members to coordinate ongoing treatment needs.
• Maintain accurate and compliant psychiatric documentation.
• Offer consultation on patient care and clinical decision-making as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Texas licensure as MD, DO, NP (Psychiatric), or PA.
• DEA registration required.
• Experience in psychiatric medication management and evaluation.
• Skilled in developing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention.
• Strong understanding of documentation standards and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA).
• Experience working with adolescents or young adults preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Pay Rate
$154.47 - $159.35/hour
