Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or physical disabilities. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention.
  • Recommend and train patients on appropriate assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master's, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional mobility principles.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acute care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or long-term care.
  • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, geriatric, or medically complex patients.
  • Board or specialty certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
