Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, treat, and develop individualized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injury, surgery, illness, or chronic conditions. The Physical Therapist will help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, improve strength and function, and maximize independence through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility interventions.
  • Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, post-surgical, and other rehabilitation needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, fall prevention, and safe mobility techniques.
  • Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices, orthotics, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient mobility.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
