Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or physical disabilities. The Physical Therapist will help restore mobility, reduce pain, improve functional independence, and enhance patients' overall quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and rehabilitation goals
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions
- Assess strength, range of motion, coordination, posture, endurance, and functional mobility
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility techniques
- Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge plans in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
