Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients with injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and movement disorders. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based rehabilitation services, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and enhance patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess strength, mobility, balance, coordination, posture, range of motion, and functional abilities
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, post-operative, and medically complex conditions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, pain management, and the safe use of assistive devices
- Recommend and train patients in the proper use of mobility aids, orthotics, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient independence and overall wellness through compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation care
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapist experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, rehabilitation techniques, and evidence-based physical therapy practices
- Excellent clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation care
Pay Rate
$56.48 - $61.36/hour
