    Position Summary

    The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, injuries, and movement disorders. This role develops individualized treatment plans, provides skilled therapeutic interventions, and promotes patient recovery, mobility, and overall functional independence in an outpatient setting.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostic assessments
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
    • Provide skilled hands-on outpatient physical therapy treatments and therapeutic interventions
    • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
    • Educate patients on injury prevention, balance and fall safety, and home exercise programs
    • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment records
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
    • Promote positive patient outcomes through evidence-based therapy practices
    • Support community outreach efforts and contribute to the clinic’s professional reputation through clinical excellence

    Qualifications

    • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the applicable state required
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
    • Previous outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, anatomy, and musculoskeletal conditions
    • Excellent assessment, communication, and patient education skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail

Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Required - 2 years)
  • Active (or eligible) Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas (Required - 0-1 years)
  • 2 years of strong clinical skill experience (Required - 2 years)
  • Interest in treating balance/vestibular, orthopedic or pelvic health in a geriatric outpatient environment (Desired)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (Required - 0-1 years)
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset (Desired)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (Desired)

Education:

  • PhD/Doctor’s Degree - Physical Therapy (Desired)
  • Master’s Degree - Physical Therapy (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Physical Therapy (Required)
  • High School Diploma (Required)

Pay Rate
$28.85 - $48.08/hour
