Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist (PT) to join an outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. The position offers the opportunity to work with patients of various ages and ability levels while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treat approximately 8–12 patients per day in an outpatient setting
- Implement therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies
- Assist with discharge planning and transition of care recommendations
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries using WebPT
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support quality patient care
- Stay current with physical therapy techniques, clinical guidelines, and healthcare regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support development of clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts required
- New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are welcome to apply
- Previous outpatient, inpatient, or home health experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions
- Experience with orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, and post-operative patient care preferred
- Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
