Outpatient Physical Therapist
Position Summary
We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions. The PT will develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to improve mobility, strength, function, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical and functional evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other appropriate interventions.
- Treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Train patients in proper movement, mobility, and use of therapeutic equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Previous outpatient or clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, manual therapy, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
- Ability to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.
Pay Rate
$59.71 - $64.58/hour
