Job Title: Physical Therapist – Inpatient
Position Summary
We are seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients. The PT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, improve mobility and function, and support safe recovery.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and other interventions.
- Assist patients with transfers, walking, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility and home exercises.
- Recommend appropriate assistive devices and mobility strategies.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.
- Active Physical Therapist license.
- Inpatient or hospital-based experience preferred.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and safe patient mobility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$59.71 - $64.58/hour
