Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, mobility, and functional training.
- Assist patients with transfers, positioning, and safe mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
- Assist with appropriate therapeutic and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and rehabilitation protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Active PTA license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient care.
- Previous inpatient, outpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$34.44 - $39.32/hour
