Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait, balance, mobility, and functional training.
  • Assist patients with transfers, positioning, and safe mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
  • Assist with appropriate therapeutic and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
  • Follow patient safety, infection control, and rehabilitation protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
  • Active PTA license as required by state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification preferred/required.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient care.
  • Previous inpatient, outpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Pay Rate
$34.44 - $39.32/hour
