Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and home programs.
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately.
- Assist with patient transfers and functional activities.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and healthcare team.
- Follow patient safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active PTA license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care.
- Previous inpatient, outpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$42.04 - $46.92/hour
