Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will implement treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional abilities, and support recovery to enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Previous rehabilitation, outpatient, home health, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$43.56 - $48.44/hour
