Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality rehabilitative care under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and healthcare team.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient care.
- Previous inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$17.02 - $21.90/hour
