Bill Rate: $35 before administrative fees
Class/Area: Pharmacy Patient Financial Advocate
Start Date: 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 or 11/16 | 16-week seasonal contract for busy season
Ori Schedule: Mon/Tues new employee orientation at KU Hospital main campus
Non-Billable Ori: 8 hours
Scheduled details (Hours, Shift, Time): M-F - 8am-4:30pm (30 minute lunch break)
Weekend Requirements: None
Holiday Requirements: None, closed on all observed holidays
Floating Requirements: None
On-Call Requirements: None
Experience Requirements: 1 years of experience in insurance billing, revenue cycle and prior authorizations. Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals. Experience with EPIC & CoverMyMeds required. Seeking consistent work history & professionalism.
Experience Preferred: Pharmacy tech lic would be a bonus, but not required
License/ Certification Requirements: N/A

Education Requirements: High School diploma 3 yr of relevant work exp OR Associate's degree in related field of study 1 year of relevant work exp
Client Specific Notes: Nicotine free facility | Bi-weekly pay | 8 hour no-bill orientation | Client is allowed 2 cancellations per month with a minimum 2 hour notice
(ask AM for full JD) Main job duties: submitting prior authorizations for prescriptions or specialty medications (thru CoverMyMeds or directly to insurances), completing medication assistance or grant funding applications for patients, contact insurance companies for status updates, pull chart notes from EPIC
Creds Due: 1-week prior to start (Mon)
Payroll: Biweekly
