Pharmacist
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of medications while supporting quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications according to prescriptions and established protocols.
- Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions.
- Provide medication information and recommendations to healthcare providers.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use when applicable.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, safety, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
- Active Pharmacist license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required based on role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and pharmacy practices.
- Previous hospital, inpatient, outpatient, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
