Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Permanent
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing services to patients with a variety of conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication strategies and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and active state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$25.00 - $40.00/hour
