Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of rehabilitative treatments and help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities. The PTA will follow treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, document progress, and maintain a safe and encouraging therapy environment.
Responsibilities:
• Implement therapy interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and documentation.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and support a safe therapy setting.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs as instructed by the PT.
Qualifications:
• Active state license or certification as a PTA.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication, patient-care, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred.
Pay Rate
$29.55 - $31.49/hour
