Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a permanent, full-time opportunity. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate patients with physical, cognitive, neurological, developmental, or functional impairments. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, the OT will develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, restore function, and enhance patients' overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess physical, cognitive, sensory, psychosocial, and functional abilities
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, rehabilitation goals, and clinical progress
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), upper extremity function, fine motor skills, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional mobility
• Evaluate, recommend, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive devices, splints, orthotics, and environmental modifications to maximize safety and independence
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, energy conservation, joint protection, fall prevention, and injury prevention strategies
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient outcomes in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Promote patient independence, functional recovery, and participation in meaningful daily activities through patient-centered rehabilitation care


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Occupational Therapist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, anatomy, rehabilitation techniques, functional assessment methods, and evidence-based practice
• Excellent clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based rehabilitation care

Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.00/hour
