PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia and assess vital signs and airway status.
- Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes or complications.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the healthcare team.
- Provide discharge instructions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active RN license as required by the state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- PALS preferred/required based on facility needs.
- Previous PACU, critical care, or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, airway-management, and critical-thinking skills.
Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
