Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Chronic Dialysis
We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Chronic Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, compassionate care to patients receiving ongoing hemodialysis treatments in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments according to prescribed plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and patient response to dialysis.
- Recognize and respond to dialysis-related complications and emergencies.
- Educate patients on dialysis treatment, medications, diet, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS preferred based on patient population/facility requirements.
- Strong knowledge of hemodialysis, renal care, fluid management, and patient assessment.
- Previous outpatient chronic dialysis or hemodialysis nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
