Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients improve functional abilities and regain independence. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care across a variety of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living, mobility, coordination, and fine motor skills
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve rehabilitation goals
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance patient safety and independence
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic techniques, and patient care practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
