General Pediatric OT
Department: Outpatient OT
# of patients treated per day 8-9 depending on the shift length.
General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS,
Other Certs Required for all OT: None
Common diagnosis / Types of patients Autism, Developmental Delays, Rare genetic syndromes, Cerebral Palsy, Motor delays, Coordination Disorders, Sensory Processing disorders, Behavioral concerns, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, emotional regulation issues.
Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Outpatient
What areas are they required to cover? Outpatient
Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Pediatric therapy experience in an outpatient setting

Is there an OT Manager/Supervisor on each shift? Yes
Do you staff Rehab Aides: COTAs? Yes, we have Rehab Aides. No COTAs at my location.
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) We have centralized scheduling and front desk Client that schedule on therapists. Treatment sessions are 1 hour blocks.

Holiday Requirements None
Scrub Color/Dress Code Therapist wear scrubs in any color and/or professional attire that is free of holes and rips. Closed toed shoes are always required.
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 1 week of orientation/shadowing offered to learn scheduling pathways, Epic documentation, and patient demographics.
Pay Rate
$72.11 - $76.99/hour
