Orthopedic Clinic Radiologic Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in an orthopedic clinic setting. The Radiologic Technologist will produce high-quality images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and support physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure high-quality images and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Follow radiation safety practices and minimize patient exposure.
- Assist physicians during orthopedic procedures and imaging as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate support and comfort.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinic procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current Radiologic Technologist license/certification as required by the state.
- ARRT certification in Radiography preferred/required based on role.
- Previous radiology or orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning, and radiation safety.
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$67.33 - $72.21/hour
