Certified Surgical Technologist – Orthopedic Surgery (Day Shift)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to support orthopedic surgical procedures during the day shift. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and assist the surgical team in delivering safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for orthopedic procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and materials.
• Prepare and position patients for orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Active and unrestricted Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Previous orthopedic operating room or scrub technician experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$53,560.00 - $78,520.00/hour
