Operating Room Technician (OR Tech)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Technician to assist the surgical team in providing safe and efficient patient care during surgical procedures. The OR Tech will prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure surgical instruments and equipment are readily available.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and materials.
• Prepare and position patients for surgical procedures.
• Ensure operating room cleanliness and compliance with infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or Operating Room Technician program preferred.
• Active and unrestricted Surgical Technologist/OR Technician certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Previous Operating Room or surgical services experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$55.89 - $60.77/hour
