OR Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a skilled OR Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team during operative procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping.
- Clean, inspect, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and operating room procedures.
- Previous Operating Room (OR) or Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
