OR Scrub Technician (Operating Room Scrub Tech)
We are seeking a skilled OR Scrub Technician to assist the surgical team during operative procedures. The OR Scrub Tech is responsible for maintaining a sterile field, preparing surgical instruments, and ensuring efficient support throughout the procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize the operating room, instruments, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery.
- Clean, inspect, and restock surgical instruments and equipment after procedures.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and operating room procedures.
- Previous Operating Room/Scrub Tech experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
