ED RN
Position Summary
We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide rapid, safe, and compassionate care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries. The RN will assess patients, prioritize care, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments and triage patients based on clinical needs.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Provide emergency and critical care interventions as needed.
- Assist with procedures, trauma care, and emergency interventions.
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Provide pain management and patient comfort measures.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and emergency care standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong triage, assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification as required.
Pay Rate
$61.99 - $66.87/hour
