Oncology Nurse
We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to patients receiving treatment for cancer and related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after treatments.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, medications, and other treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and supportive care.
Provide pain management and coordinate care with oncologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow medication safety and infection prevention standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and biotherapy certification preferred or required as applicable.
Previous oncology, infusion, or chemotherapy nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, medication safety, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$69.61 - $74.49/hour
