Occupational Therapist
Position Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans and help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, and overall function.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve function.
- Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional tasks.
- Provide mobility, coordination, balance, and strengthening interventions.
- Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment as appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy and safety strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care.
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
