Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. Evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the applicable state.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
