Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy to help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and ADLs.
- Train patients in adaptive techniques and assistive equipment.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state Occupational Therapist license.
- NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment-planning skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
